Eligibility & Criteria
Effort and coachability — We look for student-athletes who show a consistent work ethic across sport, school, and community, and who are open to feedback and growth, not just naturally talented.
Integrity — Applicants should demonstrate that they do things the right way and do not cut corners, even when no one is watching, reflecting Dave’s belief that the work always shows in the result.
Character off the field — We consider academic effort, family responsibilities, and citizenship in the community, mirroring Dave’s standard of effort "at school and at life."
Generosity and team-first mindset — We value students who support their teammates, give back to their community, and put the team and others ahead of personal recognition.
High school student status.
